In some structure application, section steel bar usually need to be punched holes or openings such as guardrail section steel, frame section steel and so on. Combined automatic control system and forming technology, our machine can make steel strip forming into section steel together with punching holes or openings.
We take picture 1 as an example.
See picture 1, The length of section steel in picture 1, is 1300mm. At the beginning of the steel bar, ①there are two squares with side length 13mm, and ②there are one round hole 700mm away from the beginning of steel bar and one square hole 900mm away from beginning. At the other end of steel bar, ① each side has a 45° slope, and in the middle of this part, there are two wavy shape with 3mm height, see as below.
To produce a section steel bar as picture, it need several steps, the steel strip feed-in, and formed into section shape, cut-off, then, punching twice, punching openings once, steel bar punching once. In traditional process, several machines do the jobs separately, that means the operators need feed-in material several times. But KK-RF series forming machine line, combines all the steps in one automatic control system, one time feed-in material, the output is required section steel bar as picture 1.
KK-RF series adopt servo motor as forming drive, before the steel strip enters into forming part, it punch holes(mentioned as ①), 45° slopes(mentioned as ①) and two holes(mentioned as②) through two group of mould. After the punching, steel strips enter into forming part. At the exit position, there locates two Optical fiber sensors for measuring the edge of holes. Because of the distance from the long round hole to the cutting die is a fixed value, under the cooperation of OFS measuring and servo motors, the length precision can be ±0.2mm. Cutting mould and wavy shape mould work Synchronously as group. This mechanism can make the two types of punching done at one time. Compared with traditional production, KK-RF series machine is three times more efficient.
